How to add a personal keypad code on a 2024 Ford F-150

Only for trucks with the exterior keypad. The master code remains valid, and this procedure does not generate or recover an unknown master code.

THE QUICK ANSWER

A personal entry code can be added using the existing five-digit master code. Programming a personal code does not erase the factory master code. Choose a number you can remember without using an easily guessed sequence.

Step by step

1Have the master code readyUse the authorized five-digit master code for this truck. Do not post it or share it in public.
2Start programmingEnter the master code and press the 1·2 keypad button within five seconds.
3Enter the new codeEnter your chosen five-digit personal code, pressing each number within five seconds of the previous one.
4Save and testPress 1·2 to save personal code 1. The doors lock and unlock to confirm successful programming; test with the remote kept available.
