PRIVACY

Your reading.
Your device.

The current site has no accounts, newsletter form, advertising scripts or analytics added by MyCarSteps.

Saved guides

Choosing “Save guide” stores the guide identifier in your browser’s local storage. It stays on that browser until you unsave it or clear site data. The site does not send your saved-guide list to us.

Step progress

Checked steps use session storage, so progress remains in the current browser tab. Closing the tab ends that session. If storage is unavailable, the controls still work during the page visit.

Search

Guide search and filters run in your browser. There is no search API. An optional model filter can appear in the page URL.

Fonts

This edition loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts that provider to request the font files; its privacy terms apply.

Hosting and external links

The hosting provider may process normal connection information to serve the site and manage access. Its own privacy terms apply. Official-source links take you to external websites with their own policies.
