How to open the fuel door on a 2024 Nissan Rogue

Do not force tools into the capless flaps or continue filling after the first automatic shut-off. Use only the fuel specified for the engine.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Press the middle-left part of the fuel door to open it. The Rogue uses a capless fuel opening, so there is no filler cap to unscrew. The pump nozzle goes directly into the opening and the fuel system seals it again when the nozzle is removed.

Step by step

1Prepare for refuellingPark at the pump, switch the engine off and keep flames, sparks and smoking away from the vehicle.
2Open the doorPush the middle-left area of the fuel door. Avoid forcing or prying at its painted edge.
3Insert the nozzleInsert the normal pump nozzle slowly all the way into the capless opening before pumping. Stop at the first automatic shut-off.
4Finish without topping offWait approximately five seconds after shut-off before withdrawing the nozzle, then close the fuel door.
