Arms do not latch upright. Lift only enough to access the blade and protect the windshield.

Select Park, turn the wipers off and choose Controls > Service > Wiper Service Mode.

Step by step

1Stop the wipersPark and switch wiping off.
2Move to service positionEnable Wiper Service Mode in Controls > Service.
3Return safelyAfter the work, lower the arms onto the glass and turn the mode off.
