The EX30 uses a manual child-lock switch on each rear door. Turn the switch with a suitable tool in the direction indicated on the door. These locks prevent rear occupants opening the doors; rear-window locking is a separate display setting.

Step by step

1Locate the rear-door switchWith the rear door open, locate its marked child-lock switch. Have a suitable tool, such as a flathead screwdriver, available.
2Enable the lockInsert the tool into the switch opening and turn in the marked activation direction. A click confirms engagement.
3Check both doorsRepeat for the other rear door as required and verify the locks. To disable a lock later, turn its switch opposite to the marked activation direction.
