THE QUICK ANSWER

Limit charging current lets you cap the amperage used for AC charging. Enable it in the charging settings, then set a value appropriate for your charging installation. This is separate from a target battery percentage and does not apply to DC fast charging.

Step by step

1Check the charging supplyUse a current value suitable for the charging installation. A vehicle setting does not replace a correctly installed, rated charging supply.
2Open the current limitTap the car icon in the bottom bar. Select Charging → Limit charging current.
3Enable and adjustTurn the feature on, then select the required amperage. Enabling it initially applies the lowest offered value until you adjust it.
4Check the displayed limitDuring charging, compare the actual current and limit on the display. If you disable the feature, its previous limit is not retained for next activation.
