How to switch driver profiles in a Volvo EX30

The current online manual can describe newer software than your car originally had. Use these steps only when the displayed controls match.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Switch profiles while stationary in Park. This loads the selected user’s settings rather than continuing with the previous driver’s profile. You may need that profile’s PIN or pattern before it opens; selecting a locked profile does not remove its protection.

Step by step

1Park the carStop and select P before changing profiles. Certain other vehicle tasks can temporarily prevent switching.
2Open the profile pickerTap the car icon, then the profile name and Switch profile.
3Select your profileChoose the profile you want and enter its protection code if requested. Check that the intended user is active before changing personal settings.
