With memory-equipped front seats, adjust the position, press M, then hold a numbered memory button within three seconds. A tone confirms storage. Driver-seat memory also stores mirror positions and head-up display position. Recall behaviour depends on whether the front door is open.

Step by step

1Prepare and adjustPark, clear the seat’s travel path and set your preferred seating position. Never adjust the driving position while driving.
2Store the positionPress M. Within three seconds, press and hold the memory button you want. Listen for the confirmation tone and check that the indicator goes out.
3Recall safelyWith the front door open, press the memory button once. With the door closed, keep it pressed until movement finishes. Press a seat-control button to stop movement if necessary.
