How to enable and adjust the head-up display in a Kia EV4

The EV4’s optional head-up display has a dedicated settings page. Enable it there, then review the display controls and information selection before evaluating its view from your seat.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Open Settings → Cluster/Head-up display → Head-Up Display. Enable the head-up display, then use Display Control and Content Selection to configure the available options.

Before you change the setting

Park and take your normal seating position. Confirm that the head-up display equipment is fitted. A missing projector or menu can be an equipment difference, so check the specification rather than assuming every EV4 should offer it.

Work through the controls

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

Displayed information depends on fitted systems. The manual lists speed and navigation information and also marks several assistance-related items as equipment dependent. A head-up display is an additional information view, not a reason to stop checking the road and normal driving displays.

Common questions

Are the assistance items identical on every EV4?+

No. Several information items in the manual depend on fitted equipment.

Can I use this menu before turning the display on?+

The manual says Display Control and Content Selection can be changed after the head-up display is enabled.
