How to change the power trunk opening height in a Kia EV4
An EV4 fitted with a power trunk has an opening-height setting in infotainment. Choose a documented height before using the trunk beneath a low garage ceiling or another overhead obstruction.
Checked against the MY2027 English owner manual for this model on 27 October 2026. Equipment and software can differ; use the instructions and controls fitted to your own vehicle.
Open Settings > Vehicle > Door > Power Trunk Opening Height, then select Full Open, Level 3, Level 2, Level 1 or the available User Height Setting.
Before you start
Park with enough clearance to inspect the trunk safely. This guide applies to the powered trunk equipment. A saved height is not a substitute for checking the space above the car each time.
