How to save seat, mirror and HUD memory in a Kia EV4
On an equipped EV4, a memory slot can store more than the seat position. Adjust the mirrors and head-up display first so the saved slot contains a coherent driving setup.
Checked against the MY2027 English owner manual for this model on 27 October 2026. Equipment and software can differ; use the instructions and controls fitted to your own vehicle.
In P with POWER ON or DRIVE READY selected, adjust the driver seat, mirrors and HUD height, then hold memory button 1 or 2. Check the saved-settings confirmation.
Before you change the setting
Park and keep the seat’s movement path clear. This procedure is for the integrated memory system and only includes equipment fitted to the car. Never operate the memory system while the vehicle is moving.
Work through the controls
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the result
Check visibility and posture after recall, especially when drivers share the car. Kia notes that disconnecting the battery can erase saved settings. If the system does not operate normally, use professional inspection rather than repeatedly forcing seat movement or guessing a reset procedure.
Common questions
Does this store a HUD setting on a car without a HUD?+
No. The source lists HUD height among memory items when the relevant equipment is fitted.
Can a battery disconnection affect saved positions?+
Yes. The manual says memory settings are erased if the battery is disconnected.
