C10 / Charging & battery

Leapmotor C10 scheduled charging did not start overnight

A waiting-for-charge screen does not confirm that energy was delivered overnight. Check the car’s saved time window and the charger’s own authorisation separately.

Checked against the English BEV manual linked below. China-market reports identify the owner question; they do not establish an export defect, a recall or a guaranteed fix. Match the handbook and equipment in your car, and follow current on-screen instructions where software differs.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Review Settings → Charging → Vehicle Charging, confirm scheduled charging is enabled and check its start/end times. The checked manual permits a window from 5 minutes to 12 hours. Confirm the wallbox can supply power during that window and check progress after charging actually begins.

The China-market owner report

A C10 poster says the battery remained at 47% overnight and the app showed the following evening as the next start. Replies propose causes, but none establishes a verified repair for that vehicle.

Before you start

Use an undamaged compatible charger and remain parked in P with the parking brake applied. Do not alter wiring or repeatedly reset a tripping circuit to force charging.

What to check

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

If an immediate session works but the scheduled one does not, keep the saved times and charger event history for support. This narrows the symptom without proving whether the car, app or wallbox caused it.

Common questions

Can charging run beyond the scheduled end?+

Yes, if charging-limit priority is enabled and the target has not been reached.

Is a waiting message evidence of a faulty battery?+

No. It describes a state, not the cause of a failed session.

SOURCES & SCOPE

Where this guide comes from

Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
