How to use the Leapmotor C10 NFC card when the phone key fails

A supplied NFC card provides a different way to enter your C10 when a phone key is unavailable. A Chinese phone-wallet feature is not evidence that your export car supports the same phone.

Checked against the English BEV manual linked below. China-market reports identify the owner question; they do not establish an export defect, a recall or a guaranteed fix. Match the handbook and equipment in your car, and follow current on-screen instructions where software differs.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Hold the registered NFC card at the marked area on the driver-side exterior mirror for more than one second. To lock, close every door, select Park and tap the card at the same reader; check that the vehicle has locked.

The China-market owner report

A Chinese C10 discussion describes newer phone NFC and selected Xiaomi support. This guide deliberately covers the physical NFC card documented in the export handbook, not that China-only phone compatibility claim.

Before you start

Use the registered card supplied for your car. Remove it from a wallet containing metal or other cards, and keep it away from the active wireless charging pad.

What to check

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

If a correctly registered, unobstructed card fails, use the separately supplied mechanical key for emergency door access and contact the dealer. Mechanical entry alone does not authorise driving.

Common questions

Does this mean my iPhone or Xiaomi works as an NFC key?+

No. Physical-card operation does not establish phone-wallet compatibility.

Can the dealer replace a lost card?+

The manual directs owners to an authorised dealer for lost or damaged keys and spare-key registration.

SOURCES & SCOPE

Where this guide comes from

Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
