Touching the rain-sensor area can trigger the wipers with ignition ON and AUTO selected.

Select AUTO on a rain-sensor-equipped car and rotate the wiper-stalk sensitivity ring. Upward from its center increases response; downward reduces it.

1Check the equipmentUse AUTO only if your wiper lever has that position. INT identifies the intermittent-wiper version instead.
2Set the responseSelect AUTO and adjust the ring upward for greater sensitivity or downward for less sensitivity.
3Take manual control if neededUse LO or HI if the rain sensor cannot cope. Put the stalk OFF before cleaning the glass or removing ice.
