How to keep cabin climate active while a Volvo EX60 is parked
For a brief stop, use the dedicated parked-climate control and check its status. Do not assume normal cabin settings will continue just because they were running before you parked.
Checked against the US EX60 2027 manual on 27 October 2026. Match the controls to your car and use its current in-car instructions if a software update changes the screen.
Press the fan symbol → Timers → Keep climate active, select Start and confirm. Use Stop in the same function when you want to turn it off.
Keep responsibility for passengers with you
Volvo warns never to leave a child or pet unattended in the vehicle. This comfort function is not a substitute for supervision. Check remaining battery charge and the displayed function state before relying on it for a stop.
Start the parked-climate function
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Do not assume an unlimited runtime
The function stops when its maximum running time is reached, battery charge is too low or a new driving cycle begins. Starting with a low battery shortens the available running time. Check the car’s current status instead of assuming one fixed duration.
Common questions
Does the manual promise a whole night of heating?+
No fixed all-night runtime is provided here, and the function has automatic-stop conditions.
Can this be treated as an unattended-child or pet mode?+
No. The source explicitly warns against leaving children or pets unattended.
