How to change the clock and date in a Volvo EX60
Before correcting the clock, check whether the car is setting it automatically. That tells you which controls need changing and avoids adjusting the time while an automatic setting is still managing it.
Checked against the US EX60 2027 manual on 27 October 2026. Match the controls to your car and use its current in-car instructions if a software update changes the screen.
Select the vehicle symbol → System → Date and time. Disable Automatic date and time and Automatic time zone if enabled, then change the required value. The time-format toggle chooses 24-hour or 12-hour display.
Identify the setting that is wrong
Make the adjustment while parked. Decide whether the issue is the time itself, the date, the time zone or just the display format. Changing the format alone will not correct a wrong time zone.
Adjust the clock settings
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the status-bar clock
Read the clock in the center display status bar after the change. Check the date and time zone as well if those were part of the original problem, so you do not leave one incorrect value behind.
Common questions
Why does the EX60 normally set its own clock?+
By default, the car uses internet information to manage date, time and the local time zone.
Does the format switch change the actual time?+
It selects how the time is shown. Check the date, time and time zone separately when correcting them.
