How to sync or separate climate temperatures in a Volvo EX60
Two different temperature numbers can be the result of an intentional zone setting. Check synchronization before trying to make every displayed number match by hand.
Checked against the US EX60 2027 manual on 27 October 2026. Match the controls to your car and use its current in-car instructions if a software update changes the screen.
Press the driver’s temperature setting in the bottom bar. Use the synchronization symbol to separate the zones, or press the desynchronization symbol to make them follow the driver’s setting again.
Decide whether passengers want separate settings
Make the change while parked. The default behavior uses the driver’s temperature for all zones. If a passenger wants a different setting, separate control may be useful rather than repeatedly restoring the same value on both sides.
Switch the temperature relationship
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check why the settings separated
A passenger choosing a different temperature also desynchronizes the setting. If different values reappear, ask whether someone changed their own zone before treating the difference as a climate fault. The visible symbols help distinguish the two operating states.
Common questions
Which temperature is used when the zones are synchronized?+
The documented shared setting follows the driver’s chosen temperature.
Can a passenger separate the temperatures without the sync control?+
Yes. Selecting a different passenger temperature also desynchronizes them.
