How to put Volvo EX60 wipers in service position
Move the front wipers into reach with the service setting before lifting them. Keep the car parked until both arms are safely back on the glass.
This is the menu in Volvo’s EX60 2027 US support page updated June 1, 2026. Check the in-car manual if your software differs. Do not substitute an XC60 or XC90 stalk-button sequence.
Select the vehicle symbol → Controls → Mirrors and wipers → Wiper service position, then activate it. After servicing, lower both arms onto the windshield before deactivating the setting.
Prepare before moving the arms
Park and keep the arms against the windshield while you find the setting. If you plan to replace the blades, have the correct replacements ready and read the replacement instructions linked below first.
Activate the front-wiper service position
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Lower the arms before exiting
Gently return both wiper arms to the windshield, then deactivate the setting in the display. Volvo also lists using the wipers or washers, or starting to drive, as exit methods.
Common questions
Is wiper service position a maintenance-reminder reset?+
No. This setting moves the front wipers for access; it does not reset a service reminder.
Should I drive to return raised arms to normal?+
Lower both arms onto the glass first. The display lets you deactivate the service position while still parked.
