How to add a keyboard language in a Volvo XC60

The current online manual can describe newer software than your car originally had. Use these steps only when the displayed controls match.

Keyboard languages are managed separately from the system display language. Open the keyboard settings, choose the keyboard, and download the desired language. You can also remove an unused typing language from the same list without changing every system label.

Step by step

1Open keyboard settingsTap the car icon in the bottom bar, then open Settings. Select System → Languages and input → Keyboard.
2Choose the keyboardSelect the keyboard you want to change, then Languages. Press the add icon and find the language you need.
3Download the languageSelect the language and press its download icon. It is added to the available keyboard-language list.
4Remove an unused language if neededIn the same language list, press Edit, choose the language and use the bin icon to remove it.
