Assigning an existing key to a profile is different from adding or programming a new vehicle key.

Assign a key from profile settings so the car can select the associated driver when that key is used. Follow the display’s reader instructions during linking. This associates an existing key with a profile; it is not a procedure for programming a replacement key.

Step by step

1Select your profileTap the car icon in the bottom bar, then open Settings. Open Profiles. Make sure you are working with the intended driver profile.
2Open the key assignmentSelect Car keys and choose the key you want to associate.
3Complete the display promptsFollow the on-screen instructions, placing the key on the indicated reader when requested. Check the association before leaving profile settings.
