How to check Zeekr 7X software and prepare for an OTA update

Chinese owner report: context, not a diagnosis

The owner describes the rear-camera display layout changing after China-market software 7.2.3. This is an individual report or discussion, not evidence of a widespread defect. The checks below concern the European export car; they do not establish what caused the Chinese owner’s symptom.

Before you start

Choose a time when you will not need the vehicle. It cannot be used during installation, and installation time varies with the update.

Follow the export-car controls

1. 1Read the installed versionOpen the car-settings menu → General → System and note the version for any support enquiry.
2. 2Prepare the vehicleEnsure at least 20% charge, a mobile or Wi-Fi connection, nobody or no animal inside, and closed and locked doors, tailgate and bonnet.
3. 3Use the offered updateFollow its notification or schedule it for later. General → System also offers Auto update overnight, described as installation at 02:00.

Check the result

After starting an update from inside, exit and lock the car. After the initial cancellation period the car cannot be unlocked until completion. Do not assume a China 7.2.3 tutorial or a promised rollback applies to export software; use the car’s own offer and local support.
