Zeekr 7X phone key not connecting: check the Bluetooth key status

Before expecting the door to unlock, check the digital-key connection shown inside the export Zeekr app. An ordinary audio pairing does not establish a working vehicle key.

CHECK YOUR CAR2025 Zeekr 7X · Europe English online manual · Long Range RWD reference

Checked against the official European English MY2025 7X online manual on 27 October 2026. China-market apps, hardware and OTA versions differ. Match your car’s display and equipment; the Chinese report supplies context, while the manufacturer manual supplies the procedure.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Log in to the Zeekr app and check its homepage Bluetooth key symbol. The manual says it should be black; tap a grey symbol to reconnect, and check the phone has enough battery.

Chinese owner report: context, not a diagnosis

The owner reports needing to open the app before Bluetooth unlocking and asks about hands-free access. This is an individual report or discussion, not evidence of a widespread defect. The checks below concern the European export car; they do not establish what caused the Chinese owner’s symptom.

Before you start

Keep a working physical key available while testing. Use a phone approved for the export digital-key feature and stay near the parked car.

Follow the export-car controls

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

Test unlocking deliberately while parked. The manual notes that other wireless connections can interfere. If key creation or connection still fails, use the working key and contact Zeekr. Do not leave a paired, Bluetooth-enabled phone inside when leaving the car.

Common questions

Is opening the app proof of hands-free access?+

No. App Bluetooth access and supported ultra-wideband wallet-key functions are different capabilities.

Does the Chinese owner’s Mate60 prove export compatibility?+

No. Check Zeekr’s approved export-phone list rather than assuming China and European support match.

SOURCES & SCOPE

Where this guide comes from

Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
