How to reboot the Zeekr 7X centre and driver displays

A documented display restart can be useful when the interface is unresponsive. It cannot diagnose repeated black screens or replace investigation of a recurring fault.

Checked against the official European English MY2025 7X online manual on 27 October 2026. China-market apps, hardware and OTA versions differ. Match your car’s display and equipment; the Chinese report supplies context, while the manufacturer manual supplies the procedure.

THE QUICK ANSWER

With the car safely parked, hold the thumbstick on the left side of the steering wheel and the scroll wheel on the right side together for ten seconds to reboot the displays.

Chinese owner report: context, not a diagnosis

A forum report summarises repeated black-screen freezes after an upgrade and says a repair was performed. This is an individual report or discussion, not evidence of a widespread defect. The checks below concern the European export car; they do not establish what caused the Chinese owner’s symptom.

Before you start

Stop safely and put the car in P before troubleshooting. If warnings, missing driving information or an unsafe vehicle condition are involved, seek Zeekr assistance.

Follow the export-car controls

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

Record what was happening and the installed software version if the symptom returns. The Chinese report says a vehicle was repaired; it does not show that a restart permanently fixes the same symptom. A display that stays unresponsive, or repeated failures, warrants support.

Common questions

Is this a factory reset?+

The cited procedure is a display reboot. It is not the separate restore-settings procedure.

Should I repeat it whenever the screen fails?+

Repeated failures need diagnosis. Note when they occur and contact Zeekr instead of treating a restart as a permanent repair.

SOURCES & SCOPE

Where this guide comes from

Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
