How to save or restore the driving position in a Zeekr 7X

Save a complete driving position after adjusting the mirrors and HUD, not just the seat. The memory combines several positions into the selected configuration.

Checked against the official European English MY2025 7X online manual on 27 October 2026. China-market apps, hardware and OTA versions differ. Match your car’s display and equipment; the Chinese report supplies context, while the manufacturer manual supplies the procedure.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Open Seat adjustment and use Save for the current configuration, Save as for another configuration, or Restore for a saved one. Restore is available with the car in P.

Chinese owner report: context, not a diagnosis

The owner reports mirror settings being lost after an update and difficulty reading the HUD in reflections. This is an individual report or discussion, not evidence of a widespread defect. The checks below concern the European export car; they do not establish what caused the Chinese owner’s symptom.

Before you start

Park, identify the active driver account and leave room for the seat and steering wheel to move. Confirm a safe driving position before saving it.

Follow the export-car controls

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

Verify the recalled mirror view and HUD alignment as well as the seat. The User center Driver position view also provides Save and Restore, but the manual says Save as cannot be reached there. An update-related complaint does not prove that re-saving repairs a software fault.

Common questions

Does Save store only the driver seat?+

No. It also stores steering-wheel, side-mirror and head-up-display positions.

Why is Restore unavailable while driving?+

The manufacturer makes the restore control available only when the car is in P.

SOURCES & SCOPE

Where this guide comes from

Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
