How to save driver-seat memory in a Kia EV2
Set the seat and mirrors to your own driving position before saving a memory slot. Checking the on-screen confirmation helps prevent overwriting the wrong driver position.
Checked against the MY2027 English owner manual for this model on 27 October 2026. Equipment and software can differ; use the instructions and controls fitted to your own vehicle.
In Park with the EV button in POWER ON or DRIVE READY, adjust the driver seat and outside-mirror height, then hold memory button 1 or 2. Look for the saved-settings message.
Before you change the setting
Use this procedure only if the integrated memory system is fitted. Park and check that seat movement will not trap anything behind or beneath it. Make the final seating and mirror adjustments before storing them.
Work through the controls
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the result
The applied message identifies which driver slot was recalled. Check the resulting view and posture before moving; an old saved slot may not match the current driver or an adjustment you made after storing it.
Common questions
Is a brief press the save command?+
The manual distinguishes holding the button to save from pressing the selected button to recall.
Which positions are documented here?+
This EV2 procedure lists the driver seat and outside rearview mirror height. It does not add undocumented memory items.
