How to set scheduled ventilation in a Kia EV2

Scheduled ventilation is a separate parked-car airflow feature. It has a planned start time and does not need to be treated as the same thing as a charging or departure-temperature schedule.

THE QUICK ANSWER

On an equipped EV2, open Setup → Vehicle → Climate → Automatic Ventilation → Scheduled Ventilation. Set the feature for the planned parked period while the climate system is off.

Before you change the setting

Make the setting while parked and check that your car has the equipment. Keep responsibility for the parked vehicle: ventilation is not a guarantee of a safe cabin temperature for a child, animal or unattended occupant.

Work through the controls

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

When it activates, Kia documents a brief display message and a fan operation of roughly 5–15 minutes depending on outside temperature. Selecting OFF or operating a climate-control button ends the function. Check the planned time again if it did not run when you expected.

Common questions
