How to restart the Leapmotor B10 infotainment screen safely

A menu restart can help an interface that is lagging. A screen that repeatedly restarts itself needs investigation rather than an endless reset routine.

Checked against the English BEV manual linked below. China-market reports identify the owner question; they do not establish an export defect, a recall or a guaranteed fix. Match the handbook and equipment in your car, and follow current on-screen instructions where software differs.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Park the vehicle and open Settings → System → Maintenance → Reboot MMI. Follow the on-screen prompt. Choose the interface reboot, not maintenance power-down or Restore Factory Settings.

The China-market owner report

A B10 owner asks about spontaneous infotainment restarts. Replies recommend several fixes and speculate about causes; the thread does not establish which component or software is responsible.

Before you start

Stop safely and select P before using the maintenance menu. If essential vehicle information or controls are unavailable, arrange assistance rather than trying to operate the menus while driving.

What to check

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

A normal interface restart does not establish that the fault has been repaired. The handbook documents it for lag or functional errors, while recurring spontaneous resets need a service assessment.

Common questions

Is Reboot MMI the same as a factory reset?+

No. The manual lists factory restore as a separate command requiring an operation password.

Can I reboot while driving?+

Carry out these menu operations only after parking safely.

SOURCES & SCOPE

Where this guide comes from

Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
