Leapmotor B10 wireless charging hot or slow: alignment checks

Phone position, compatibility and heat can all interrupt wireless charging. Check the charging state rather than judging only by the phone’s battery percentage.

Checked against the English BEV manual linked below. China-market reports identify the owner question; they do not establish an export defect, a recall or a guaranteed fix. Match the handbook and equipment in your car, and follow current on-screen instructions where software differs.

THE QUICK ANSWER

With the doors closed, enable wireless charging using its top-bar status icon. Place one Qi-compatible phone in the charging area with no objects between it and the pad. If overheating stops charging, turn it off and allow cooling before trying again.

The China-market owner report

A Chinese B10 post complains about phone alignment, heat and poor charging performance. Its guessed power figure is not an export specification and is not used in this guide.

Before you start

Remove coins, keys, magnetic cards and other objects from the charging area. Do not touch a potentially hot metal object immediately; turn the function off and let it cool first.

What to check

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

The manual says high temperature can pause charging and that a fault in either the phone or vehicle can prevent it. Neither a slow percentage increase nor the Chinese post identifies which device is responsible.

Common questions

Does the forum prove the export charger is only 5 W?+

No. The post speculates; use your market’s specification.

Can an NFC card stay under the phone?+

No. Keep magnetic/chip cards and other objects out of the charging area.

SOURCES & SCOPE

Where this guide comes from

Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
