With the passenger belt unfastened, automatic passenger-seat heating turns off.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Enable Occupant Comfort and press climate AUTO to let equipped front seat heating respond to cabin conditions. Pressing a seat-heater button returns that side to manual control.

Step by step

1Enable the comfort optionTurn on Occupant Comfort in the equipped Mazda Connect system, using its settings guidance if needed.
2Select climate AUTOPress AUTO on the climate panel. The seat heater can then select High, Mid, Low or OFF according to conditions.
3Return from manual modeIf you press a seat-heater switch, that side enters manual mode. Press climate AUTO to restore automatic control.
