Mazda CX-30: Why Sport mode will not activate

Do not use Sport on slippery roads. It can increase engine speed and fuel consumption.

Sport mode can be unavailable while ABS, traction control, stability control or radar cruise are operating, or during abrupt steering. A flashing mode indicator signals that selection is unavailable.

1Check the indicatorA flashing select-mode indication means Sport was not selected.
2Check the conditionsDo not keep requesting it during ABS, TCS or DSC intervention, abrupt steering or active Mazda Radar Cruise Control.
3Try only in suitable conditionsWhen normal conditions return, use the drive-selection switch and confirm a steady Sport indication. Cancel Sport for normal driving.
