Hold the brake pedal and pull the EPB switch up to apply the parking brake. With ignition ON, hold the pedal and press the switch down to release it.

1Apply while stoppedPress the brake pedal securely and pull the parking-brake switch upward. Check its indicator and the cluster indication.
2Release for drivingSwitch ignition ON or run the engine, keep the brake depressed and press the switch.
