How to adjust the Polestar 5 digital rear-view mirror
Moving the mirror housing does not move its camera. First make the display comfortable to see from your seat, then adjust the camera view using the controls under the mirror.
For the rear-view mirror described in the 2026 UK Polestar 5 manual. Mirror mode shows the cabin; without a rear window it does not provide the camera’s view behind the car.
Pull the underside mode switch towards you for camera display mode. Use the three navigation buttons to open settings and adjust brightness or camera height. Make the adjustments before driving.
Set your seating position first
Park and sit in your normal driving position. Position the mirror so you can see its display clearly. The camera’s view is a separate adjustment, so turning the housing alone will not change the height of the picture.
Adjust the camera display
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
If the picture remains unclear
Check the camera view for an obstruction before treating the issue as a brightness problem. A displayed fault or focus warning calls for the manual’s troubleshooting instructions. Contact Polestar support if it persists; avoid changing settings while driving.
