How to adjust a front seat in a Polestar 5
The seat’s adjustment knob controls several modes. The on-screen guide helps identify whether the next movement affects position, support or another available adjustment.
Checked against the UK model-year 2026 Polestar 5 manual on 27 October 2026. Match the display and fitted equipment to your car before following these instructions. Optional comfort features may be absent.
While parked, press the button in the seat-side adjustment knob. Press it again to cycle modes, then move or rotate the knob while watching the centre-display guide.
Before you start
Never adjust the seat while driving. Start from a stationary position and identify the knob on the side of the seat nearest the door.
Follow the controls
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the result
Check your posture, mirrors and steering-wheel position after moving the seat. Repeated rapid movement in the same direction can temporarily disable the knob and show a message; do not force it.
Common questions
Why did the knob temporarily stop responding?+
The manual describes a temporary adjustment lock after repeated movement in one direction over a short period. Read the displayed message.
Can the driver’s position be saved?+
The manual describes a save message after driver-seat adjustment, including associated mirror and steering-wheel adjustments. Follow that prompt for your profile.
