How to adjust the steering wheel position in a Polestar 5
Adjust the wheel from your normal seated position before driving. The display provides the movement controls, and the result becomes part of the user profile.
Checked against the UK model-year 2026 Polestar 5 manual on 27 October 2026. Match the display and fitted equipment to your car before following these instructions. Optional comfort features may be absent.
While parked, open top-bar settings → Adjustments and press the steering-wheel symbol. Use the steering-wheel buttons to change its position.
Before you start
Keep objects off the steering column, both in front of and behind the driver display. Polestar warns that items there can damage the display when the wheel moves.
Follow the controls
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the result
The wheel position is stored in the user profile. Check the seat, mirrors and head-up display alignment after the change instead of judging the wheel in isolation.
Common questions
Should I adjust the wheel while moving?+
