How to change the clock and time zone in a Polestar 5
Check whether the clock is automatic before editing it. A time-zone issue and the choice of clock format can look similar at a quick glance.
Checked against the UK model-year 2026 Polestar 5 manual on 27 October 2026. Match the display and fitted equipment to your car before following these instructions. Optional comfort features may be absent.
Open top-bar settings → Settings → General → System → Date and time. Disable the automatic date/time or time-zone controls when making the corresponding manual change.
Before you start
Park and identify which value needs changing: date, time, time zone or format. The manual says internet information normally updates date, time and the local zone automatically.
Follow the controls
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the result
Check the visible time after leaving the menu. Keep a note of whether automatic controls remain enabled so a later change is easier to interpret.
Common questions
Can the car set the clock itself?+
Yes. Automatic internet-based date, time and local time zone are the default described in the manual.
Can I change the time format?+
The manual includes time format among the available settings. Choose the format offered in Date and time.
