How to synchronise climate temperatures in a Polestar 5
A passenger’s separate temperature setting can explain why two sides of the cabin feel different. The climate view lets you rejoin the zones to the driver’s setting.
Checked against the UK model-year 2026 Polestar 5 manual on 27 October 2026. Match the display and fitted equipment to your car before following these instructions. Optional comfort features may be absent.
Open the climate view with the fan symbol. Use the synchronisation control to separate the zones, or the desynchronisation control to join them again.
Before you start
Park before learning the symbols. The driver’s temperature is the default shared value described in the manual, while individual zones can also have their own settings.
Follow the controls
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the result
When shared control is selected, use the driver setting as the reference. Check the mode again if another occupant later chooses an individual preference.
Common questions
Can different zones use different temperatures?+
Yes. The manual supports separate zone values as well as synchronisation.
Which temperature is used by default?+
The manual identifies the driver’s selected temperature as the default for all zones.
