How to turn on steering wheel heating in a Polestar 5
The steering-wheel heater is reached through the driver-seat comfort controls. Opening the passenger-seat controls will not take you through the documented route.
Checked against the UK model-year 2026 Polestar 5 manual on 27 October 2026. Match the display and fitted equipment to your car before following these instructions. Optional comfort features may be absent.
Press the driver-side seat symbol in the climate bar, then the steering-wheel heating symbol. Select the preferred heating level.
Before you start
Confirm that your car has the heated steering-wheel equipment. Set it while parked if you are learning the controls for the first time.
Follow the controls
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the result
The manual also provides automatic activation through climate settings for cold conditions. Check that preference separately if the heater seems to activate without a new manual selection.
