How to set a charging schedule on a 2027 Volvo EX60
Have your electricity tariff and usual departure time ready. That makes it easier to choose between a fixed charging window and a departure-time plan.
Based on the US EX60 2027 manual article updated June 1, 2026. Smart options and app overrides vary by region and app version. A saved schedule still needs to be activated.
Open the vehicle symbol → Charging, choose Manual schedules or Smart schedules, then Add. Set the required times, save the schedule and switch it on.
Pick the type that matches your plan
A manual schedule uses start and stop times. A smart schedule uses a departure time and aims to reach the selected battery target by then. Neither removes the need to allow enough charging time.
Save and activate a schedule
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the first scheduled charge
Before relying on it overnight, compare the displayed times with your tariff and departure plan. Available power and the time spent plugged in can affect whether the target is reached. Turn the schedule off when you no longer want it applied.
Common questions
Can I charge immediately despite an active schedule?+
Where available, the Volvo Cars app can override it when the car is in park and the charging cable is connected.
Does creating an entry start the timer?+
Check that you have switched the saved entry on and that its time is displayed in the charging view.
