How to use an external smart-charging service with a Zeekr 7X
A smart tariff cannot deliver energy during hours that the car itself excludes. Coordinate the external service’s period with the vehicle’s own permitted charging window.
Checked against the official European English MY2025 7X online manual on 27 October 2026. China-market apps, hardware and OTA versions differ. Match your car’s display and equipment; the Chinese report supplies context, while the manufacturer manual supplies the procedure.
Schedule the car for the full period during which it is connected and the smart service may charge. Then follow the service’s instructions and check that the car’s charge cap meets your departure needs.
Chinese owner report: context, not a diagnosis
The owner describes a China home-wallbox installation and using scheduled charging and a charge limit. This is an individual report or discussion, not evidence of a widespread defect. The checks below concern the European export car; they do not establish what caused the Chinese owner’s symptom.
Before you start
Identify the external service and its supported wallbox or vehicle connection. This guide assumes that service has already been set up according to its own instructions.
Follow the export-car controls
Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.
Check the result
A narrower car timer can block a legitimate request from the smart service. The manual sends owners to the provider for service-specific operation; it does not certify every tariff or promise a saving. Record both schedules when investigating a missed session.
Common questions
Does this guide connect a particular electricity provider?+
No. Provider authorisation and compatibility depend on that service’s own instructions.
Should the vehicle timer contain only the cheapest hour?+
The manual says to cover the period in which the external service may activate charging, allowing that service to manage its requests.
SOURCES & SCOPE
Where this guide comes from
Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
