How to set the charging percentage limit in a Zeekr 7X

Choose a charge target intentionally instead of assuming a forum owner’s preferred percentage is the right target for every battery or journey.

CHECK YOUR CAR2025 Zeekr 7X · Europe English online manual · Long Range RWD reference

Checked against the official European English MY2025 7X online manual on 27 October 2026. China-market apps, hardware and OTA versions differ. Match your car’s display and equipment; the Chinese report supplies context, while the manufacturer manual supplies the procedure.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Open Energy management → Charging, or press the top-toolbar battery symbol. Move the charging-limit slider sideways to select the desired percentage.

Chinese owner report: context, not a diagnosis

The owner discusses initial energy-use concern and using a 90 percent charging cap. This is an individual report or discussion, not evidence of a widespread defect. The checks below concern the European export car; they do not establish what caused the Chinese owner’s symptom.

Before you start

Park before editing the display. Consider the next journey and follow the charging recommendations for your actual battery and local manual.

Follow the export-car controls

Tick steps as you go. Your progress stays in this tab.

Check the result

Look at the selected target again before leaving the car. If charging ends near that setting, the cap is one control to check before diagnosing a fault. The Chinese owner’s chosen 90% is an anecdotal routine, not a universal manufacturer battery-care instruction.

Common questions

Does selecting a cap also choose off-peak hours?+

No. Schedule charging separately controls the start and stop time.

Should every 7X use 90%?+

This procedure does not prescribe a universal percentage. Consult the charging recommendations applicable to the actual battery and planned use.

SOURCES & SCOPE

Where this guide comes from

Operating steps are checked against manufacturer documentation; Chinese owner discussions are labelled as anecdotal reports. They identify questions, not the prevalence or cause of a fault. Reviewed on 27 October 2026. This is a source-based guide, not a claim of hands-on vehicle testing.
